The Swiss franc strengthened against most major currencies in the early European session on Thursday.
The Swiss franc rose to a 1-week high of 1.5283 against the pound, from an early 2-day low of 1.5349.
Against the U.S. dollar, the Swiss franc advanced to a 3-day high of 0.9821 from an early low of 0.9873.
Against the yen, the Swiss franc edged up to 122.32, from an early low of 121.87.
If the Swiss franc extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 1.50 against the pound, 0.96 against the U.S. dollar and 123.57 against the yen.
