Malaysia will on Friday release September figures for inflation, headlining a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Consumer prices are expected to add 0.2 percent on month and 2.6 percent on year after rising 0.2 percent on month and 3.3 percent on year in August.
Singapore will provide September numbers for imports, exports and trade balance. In August, imports were worth SGD36.05 billion and exports were at SGD42.85 billion for a trade surplus of SGD6.8 billion.
