Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher. At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.17%. The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HEL:NRE1V), which rose 1.85% or 0.48 points to trade at 26.43 at the close. Meanwhile, Sampo Oyj A (HEL:SAMAS) added 1.01% or 0.44 points to end at 44.13 and Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HEL:NDA1V) was up 0.87% or 0.090 points to 10.490 in late trade. The worst performers of the session were Neste Oil Oyj (HEL:NESTE), which fell 1.96% or 0.48 points to trade at 23.95 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HEL:OUT1V) declined 1.00% or 0.0340 points to end at 3.3700 and Konecranes Oyj (HEL:KCR1V) was down 0.93% or 0.24 points to 25.66. Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 94 to 75 and 8 ended unchanged. Brent oil for November delivery was up 0.12% or 0.06 to $47.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 1.89% or 0.83 to hit $44.83 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.36% or 4.00 to trade at $1103.70 a troy ounce. EUR/USD was down 0.43% to 1.1269, while EUR/GBP rose 0.07% to 0.7342. The US Dollar Index was up 0.42% at 95.79.
