Belgium’s economy grew at a slightly faster pace in the third quarter, but the pace of expansion remained modest, preliminary figures from the National Bank of Belgium showed Wednesday.
Gross domestic product rose 0.2 percent from the second quarter, when it grew 0.1 percent. The economy expanded for the sixth quarter in a row.
Year-on-year, GDP grew 0.8 percent, which was slower than the 1 percent expansion in the second quarter.
